The Joshua Letter is an Oregon non-profit corporation dedicated to a greater understanding of what it means to be human.  We believe there are good reasons to believe that all knowledge is related, and that is why we wish to explore religion, philosophy, science, and law and the relationships among those fields of knowledge.

The Joshua Letter is governed by a three-member board of directors.  Tom Alderman is a practicing attorney in Eugene, Oregon.  Richard Beswick and Michael Edsall are campus ministers at the University of Oregon in Eugene.

The Joshua Letter is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt, charitable organization.

Copies of our Articles of Incorporation and other governing documents are available on request.

Until further notice, this web site is likely to develop quite slowly, as it is the product, so far, of the efforts of Mr. Alderman, who  doesn't really have time for this sort of thing.  God willing, some day soon that will change.

It is our hope that there is one person who will find something here and say, That's cool.  Life seems difficult most of the time, but inwardly we are being renewed day by day!   We would like others to understand why and how.

Welcome, and please feel free offer your thoughts.
